About the Tour
Experience the Peloponnese in comfort with a private and fully customized excursion. Together with your English-speaking driver, you can choose which places to visit, how much time to spend at each stop, and whether you want to follow the suggested itinerary or create your own route.
Start leisurely from Athens with a pleasant drive along the Megara Gulf towards the Peloponnese. The first stop is the Corinth Canal — an impressive engineering feat, completed in 1893, that separates the Peloponnese from mainland Greece. From the movable bridge, you can look 80 meters straight down into the turquoise water — the perfect photo opportunity.
From the Canal, continue through the picturesque olive groves of the Peloponnese to Ancient Corinth, which was a wealthy and powerful city in classical antiquity. Walk through the agora, explore the Temple of Apollo — the most important monument of Ancient Corinth — and immerse yourself in its history.
Your journey continues to the legendary citadel of Mycenae, home of Agamemnon and one of Greece’s most important archaeological sites. Pass through the famous Lion Gate, visit Agamemnon’s throne, and the royal tombs.
Next, arrive at the charming port of Nafplio, known for its elegant streets, Venetian architecture, and views of the Argolic Gulf. An ideal stop for lunch or to stroll through the local shops before continuing.
The last stop is the Theatre of Epidaurus — a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its astonishing acoustics. Even today, you can hear a coin drop on the stage from the furthest seat. After a full day, your driver will return you to Athens.
